  Re: Year 8 Parent Consultation Evening Thursday 29th February, 3.40 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.  

You are invited to attend a Parent Consultation evening for parents and carers of Year 8 pupils here at school on Thursday 29th February 2024 from 3.40 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. This is an important opportunity to speak to your child’s teachers about the progress your child is making in their KS3 subjects. 

Year 8 Parent Consultation  

On this evening you will have the opportunity to meet in person with each of your child’s subject teachers, and receive constructive verbal feedback on your child’s current attainment and progress.    

Appointments must be booked via EduLink One, although the appointments themselves will take place in person on the school site. To book appointments with the teachers you wish to meet with, please:  

1. Log into EduLink One 

2. Click on the Parents’ Evening icon 

3. Select the event called “Year 8 Parents’ Evening” 

4. Select the available slots and then click “Book”. 

Due to the large number of pupils that staff need to see, appointments will last 5 minutes. We will make every effort to ensure that the evening runs smoothly and as scheduled. It is important that you arrive promptly for your appointments. We ask that you stick to your booked times for appointments, and we also ask for your patience and understanding if it is necessary to queue.  

  The Year 8 team will also be available to discuss any concerns or questions you might have.  

  Please ensure that you book your appointments in EduLink One by no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday 27th February. Please contact the communications team (communications@kingsford.newham.sch.uk, 020 7476 4700 ext. 410) if you have any problems booking your appointments.
